Bond Building Treatments.
In today’s time hair color is all about bonds. The reason why is because there are so many new treatment systems that can actually rebuild and repair the disulfide bonds that are decomposed during salon chemical services like lightening and coloring. How do they play a role in a coloring service? Lightener and color contain chemicals that lift up the cuticle of the hair to allow the dye to penetrate the hair. These chemicals break down the internal bonds that keep your strands strong. But thanks to the latest technology for hair protection, you can have your dream color looking shiny, healthy and most importantly strong.
Bond building products are designed to prevent damage and keep the integrity of your hair during chemical processing they work to create new bonds and reconnect existing ones, making your hair even stronger than it was before coloring.
Bond Ultim8 prevents breakage during a chemical hair process and protects the bonds over time. The treatment can be done also by itself as a treatment. The formula acts as a buffer for the alkaline agents in the lighting process that preserves the bond while allowing the lightening to continue to happen. Your hair will feel even healthier than when you came in.

(I personally have curly hair and when I do the treatment not only does it repair my hair but it gives my curls life again and removes frizz and dryness. Highly recommend this treatment for women/men who have dry curly hair and have a hard time getting their curls to how they once had them when they were little from all the coloring they have done to their hair.)
Olaplex was one of the first hair treatments to come out as repairing system to be used in a coloring service. It’s such a known product that clients are sometimes scared to try something new when I present them the Matrix Bond System. For my personal preference I just see better pros with Bond Ultim8 than will Olaplex. For example Olaplex dilutes my developer even when bumping in to a higher one. Causing longer process time which makes your appointment be longer than it needs to be. There’s just no need for anyone’s time to be wasted when their better hair systems that can give you even better results.
At the end of the day my goal is for all my clients to walk out with beautiful healthy hair with no additional time needed.
Choosing to add this treatment to your service is the best thing you could do for your hair.
